In 1995, Steve Sammut started SCAMPS Music providing Guitar, Drum, Keyboard and Piano lessons to Primary and Junior School children throughout the South East of England.

  SCAMPS Music soon became The Rock and Pop Foundation, establishing itself as the UK’s leading contemporary music service. In addition to small group and one to one instrumental lessons, The Rock and Pop Foundation provide Whole Class PPA cover, School Music Clubs and Inset day staff training sessions.

Since its inception in 1995, the organisation has taught in excess of 60,000 children with an examination pass rate of 95% with our partner exam boards; Trinity Rock & Pop, Trinity College London, Rockschool (RSL Awards) and ABRSM.

The backbone of the Rock and Pop Foundation was this syllabus built on the knowledge and experience acquired over the past 25 years .

The lesson plans  have been carefully designed,  and a proven  scheme of learning to take complete beginners up to initial grade standard  on

Guitar, Drums and Keyboard.

An inspired fun sporting training  concept the scheme of work  challenges, team playing,  musical band performance and instrumental technical development all supported through  full backing tracks and teacher support videos.
